Privacy Policy
Effective date
This policy explains what information is processed when you use Dokki’s MSCW or get in touch by email. There are no accounts, login, comments, or contact form.
When you visit the site
The site is served through Cloudflare Pages. When you request a page, Cloudflare’s network may process information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, the requested URL, and the time of the request. You can read more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Language and theme settings
- Language: When you choose a language from the language menu, its code is stored in a
langcookie for one year. Choosing a language again renews that period. The cookie takes you to your chosen language when you visit the site’s root address (/). If the cookie is absent, the site uses the language preferences your browser sends with the request and does not save the result in another cookie. - Theme: When you choose light or dark mode with the theme button, the site stores a
themevalue in your browser’slocalStorage. This value is not sent to the site server and remains in your browser until you clear the site’s data. If you have not chosen a mode, the site follows your device setting.
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. The site remains readable without the lang cookie, but it will not remember your choice when you visit the root address.
Search on this site
When you first use search, your browser downloads the list of posts for the current language from the site. Your search terms and the matching process stay in your browser. The site does not put your terms in the URL or send them to the server as search requests.
Email inquiries
If you email [email protected], I receive your address, the message subject and body, and any files you choose to attach. I use them to review tips and inquiries. contact@ is a receive-only address, so I may not respond to general inquiries individually.
Cloudflare and Google process the messages. For details, see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy. I keep received messages for one year from the date they arrive, then delete them.
To ask about, correct, or delete an email you sent, write to the same address. I will review privacy-related requests and explain how they are handled.
Advertising and analytics
The site currently has no ads. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. It measures the path of the page visited, the referring source, browser, operating system, device type, country estimated from the IP address, and performance metrics such as page load speed and visual stability. The analytics script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com, and Cloudflare processes the measurements. I see aggregated page-view and performance statistics rather than records of individual visitors.
According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics, or identify and track individuals through IP addresses or browser information. The lang cookie and theme setting described above are separate from this analytics service. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for more information. Your browser’s tracking protection or content-blocking settings may block the analytics script.
If I add advertising later, I will update this policy to explain the service used, any cookies or identifiers, how information is processed, and the choices available to visitors before making the change.
Changes and contact
If the site’s information practices change, I will update this page and its effective date. This policy was written in Korean; the English version is a translation. If the versions appear to differ, or if you have a question about how information is handled, please email [email protected].
